A supportive business ecosystem ensures that the above hindrances do not occur:
  • Capital Ecosystem: should be a patient, long-term champion of the business’s philosophical foundation and a constructive enabler of its strategy and execution. It should NOT be short-term focused and/or create unnatural pressure points.
  • Leadership Ecosystem: should be committed to the business’s philosophical foundation, serve as a culture carrier, and fully own and execute the business strategy. It should NEVER yield to opportunistic short-term goals at the expense of long-term purpose. 
  • Value Creation Ecosystem: should be focused and time-relevant, promote a culture of ownership, bring incremental depth and breadth to execution, and serve as a force-multiplier to the execution of business strategy. It should NOT be deployed to manage perception of stakeholders alone, particularly if it does not serve to enhance the business holistically.
